Victory and Remembrance by Teri Leigh Teed    Today is Memorial day.  In the morning, a thick, heavy fog covers this mountain cove and envelopes all in our field of vision.  By mid-afternoon, the fog has dissolved and the sun is shining through the clouds. In the genealogy of my mother’s family, there are many U.S. veterans, from the present to the Revolutionary War.  Our “Uncle Frank”, Francis E. Brownell, was the first U.S. soldier to receive the Medal of Honor. My mother was named after his sister, Jayne Ann Brownell. The Tree of Peace by Teri Leigh Teed Here in this part of the Nantahala Forest, the Tree of Peace is Eleanor, Queen of the Meadow. Eleanor holds court in this meadow, in a quiet cove surrounded by her family and friends. A sea of trees as far as the eye can see. A beautiful and peaceful place and in this season, a sea of green. At night, what appears as darkness to our human eyes, is a different story seen through the eye of the camera.  It is the sensitivity to Light frequency that creates the difference between our human perception and the camera’s image. Schumann Resonance by Teri Leigh Teed   Today the weather here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina has been exceptional, providing an incredibly beautiful Spring day. The morning sky was the perfect powder blue, dotted with fluffy, white clouds.  There were a few dark clouds that wandered across overhead for a short time this afternoon, and now the Sun is setting up a magnificent sunset. Spring Rising from Mother Earth 🌎 by Teri Leigh Teed   The visible signs of Spring are subtle. The energetic signs are palpable. There is movement, even on this cloudy, overcast day in the Nantahala Forest. The preparations are continuing, underground and within each species of the human, animal, plant and mineral kingdoms. Synchronized events are in harmony with Nature’s flow. The Light for All Seasons by Teri Leigh Teed   The Sun is setting, backlighting the clouds on the horizon of the mountains’ ridges.  The pale blue sky is clear and waiting for the last drop of the orange colored sun to disappear in the anticipated solar nose dive. The debut of Spring is building momentum, and each morning adds more aviary voices vyeng for their mate’s attention. Each season brings it’s own colors, voices, light.  And then there is the Light for All Seasons, which transcends all time.
