This time prior to Winter Solstice is a good time to slow down. Now to some, that may not seem possible with the Thanksgiving weekend now over and the Christmas holidays less than a month away. It all comes together when we ask ourselves what is most important in our lives. And another person’s priorities may not be the same as our own. And what is the reason behind a certain priority or “tradition”? If we give ourselves a reason to celebrate this season of peace, then we open our minds and bodies for peace. And joy. And love. It is all about how we are programmed since birth. And, just like we can re-program our computers, we >>
Inspiration from Nature
Today is the last day of October, and the sun is shining and bringing warmth and joy. The leaves are creating new spectrums of color, which have set a spark of fiery reds, oranges, golden, and brown hues covering these mountains and valleys. The Autumn skies are clear blues with ever changing clouds passing through at a good pace. The days are glorious and the temperatures at night are mild. Serenity holds court. Inspiration comes through Nature, and close to home. The circle of Life continues to blossom in miraculous ways, every day. Giving thanks for peace and prosperity, Grace and Love. Light at the End of Day
There is something very satisfying to our soul when we reach the end of a day and we feel a sense of accomplishment. Perhaps you had a “to do list” or a project that needed your attention. And for today, you focused your attention on that one task, and completed it. Take a deep breath and pat yourself on the back. Give yourself recognition for your job well done! It is often the simplest things that bring the most joy to us. How wonderful. A reminder that every day is worth celebrating. And it is a good thing to remind ourself of the little and big joys in our lives. Sometimes, an accomplishment may take years or even >>
Mountains of Dreams
Sometimes things that at first seem like mistakes can turn out to be some of our best works of art. When we let go of preconceived notions and allow the natural flow of ideas, we begin to experience serendipity. Doors open for us into our world of Imagination, and art comes alive. From our thoughts the canvas of creation stirs the paint, the pen, the camera, the potter’s wheel, the mandolin. And the art appears in many forms. We have unlimited potential from this deep well of creativity. What will you create today? “There is a Place” music and lyrics by Teri Leigh Teed There is a place, up in the mountains, There is a >>
Creating Bliss
“Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors where there were only walls.”. ~ Joseph Campbell Life is an easy path to tread when we are feeling well. And a different story when obstacles appear. What happens when we create pain or dis-ease in our bodies? How do we heal ourselves and create our bliss? There are many answers to these questions. Perhaps as many answers as there are stars in the skies at night. From my own personal experiences, there is a fundamental belief that we must accept responsibility for our life. That is empowering for if we create our life, then we have the power to change our life. That includes healing dis-ease. Some >>
