Schumann Resonance
by Teri Leigh Teed
Today the weather here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina has been exceptional, providing an incredibly beautiful Spring day.
The morning sky was the perfect powder blue, dotted with fluffy, white clouds. There were a few dark clouds that wandered across overhead for a short time this afternoon, and now the Sun is setting up a magnificent sunset.
The Schumann Resonance has been active today, with Solar flares keeping the energies high.
We live in fascinating times.
Living in the Nantahala Forest, surrounded by these ancient Blue Ridge Mountains is a gift. And I treasure every moment.
Eleanor, Queen of the Meadow, my dear Tulip Poplar tree friend, is showing off her buttercup yellow colored flowers. The mountains are completely “greened up” now and it feels like we are surrounded by a sea of this life-affirming color.
As we approach the day of Bealtaine on this coming Friday, my thoughts turn to my times visiting Ireland and Scotland. The settlers who came here to these Appalachian mountains from those countries must have surely felt a kinship with this area. I know I felt a deep appreciation of both Ireland and Scotland, the land and the people, when I traveled there.
As the Sun begins to dip below the Ridges, I smile and think of my ancestors, and our relationship with Mother Earth and all her gifts. Life is good.
Sunsets here always bring a smile. May you be blessed with the Spirit of Joy, every day.
