Symbols of Summer a poem of hope and inspiration by Teri Leigh Teed 💗 In the midst of the crowds of doubt, The Spirits of Peace and Prosperity appear, Holding high the Light of Divine Love, And welcoming the faithful to draw near. The Time of the Great Healing is here, And those living heart centred lives know, The matrix is finally dissolved by The souls it once enslaved in the mind games of old. The dreams of the hopeful are now realized And the freedom of the ages appears, For the energies of fear and oppression are removed And replaced with Wisdom, Peace, Prosperity, Love and Good Cheer. The Joy and Happiness of Nantahala Nights
It is the day before our Nation’s Birthday, the Fourth of July. And I will be watching the fireflies here in the Nantahalala Forest tonight, and tomorrow, too. There will probably be other local light displays on the Fourth, albeit much noisier and impacting Nature in a way that disturbs the rights of this forest’s inhabitants to a peaceful life. We are given free will to choose, so I ask for us all to consider the feelings and the rights of all as we choose how to celebrate this holiday. Our friends in the Forest, the Poplar and Fir trees, the Daisies and Dandelions, the wild Blackberries and Mullein, the Crows, Owls, Woodpeckers and Songbirds, the Groundhogs, Squirrels >>
Glory Lights
The Universe is speaking with us constantly. If we pay attention and are open to the signs and cues, then we can join in the conversation. The photographs I create at night are special communications, and many contain symbols to help us awaken and remember that which has been hidden in plain sight for a long time. Along with my indie book, Mystical South Carolina: A Pilgrimage to Joy, these special messages conveyed through the Eleanor’s Dream series photographs are shared to help us see the bigger picture that is going on in our world. Each person has a unique soul mission, and I create these photographs and stories as part of mine. My intention is that my >>
Purple Visions, Nantahala
The winds are strong and blow cool air from the North. Then the warm air comes up from the Gulf and sends the temperatures soaring higher the next day. It is a time of fluctuations, a time of Purple Visions here in the Nantahala Forest. Spring is in full swing as more and more flowering plants display their blooms. There is, as Johnny Cash so aptly penned in his song “Forty Shades of Green”, a treasure trove of color and diversity here. And the songbirds carry their messages every morning to welcome the new day. Eleanor, Queen 👑 of the Meadow, reigns in regal splendor here in this mountain cove. And at night, she sends her messages of >>
Signs of Spring
Temperatures are rising and fog and soft rain have enveloped the Nantahala Forest during this past week. It is a soothing atmosphere that kindles artistic creations. Nature is changing wardrobes and the metamorphosis is taking place slowly. Many are claiming that Spring will arrive early this year, and my heart welcomes this affirmation. Today is a glorious sunny day and the temperature is climbing. Just outside my window, Eleanor, Queen 👑 of the Meadow, is primed to blossom her Tulip Poplar buds on every branch. Only a few days until the first official day of Spring on March 19! 💐 Featured image, The Daffodils Dance, part of the Eleanor’s Dream series by Teri Leigh Teed Healing Spirit >>
