It is the first day of March, and the sun shine was bright white this afternoon, and the wind was fierce. Technically, it is almost Spring and Winter still clings, as the temperature drops as soon as the sun sets.  The signs of Spring are palpable and Eleanor, Queen of the Meadow is full of  buds on her branches, some are beginning to open. The Winter Angel lingers, knowing that the timelines are shifting and the new season is almost here. The days are getting longer and warmer.  The afternoon sun lights up these mountains and brings signs of Spring on the way. Today at sunset, there is an extraordinary display of seven planets, a show that will not be seen again until 2040. These are extraordinary times! The Solar flares and Schumann Resonance are incredible light shows and are bringing more changes and awareness. The stars twinkle above us and bring hope to our world. To be alive in these times, and to live in the Nantahala Forest amongst Nature’s network is such a gift. In Appalachia, the Spirit of Wonder fills the night skies in Winter, With rainbows and stars and the frequency of Peace. The rivers, creeks and streams run cold, And the frosty air creates white fog that creeps up from them and drapes the mountains like a shawl. Warm and friendly spaces are a luxury for man and animals, And the value of wisdom is highly prized, coveted, indeed. The Spirit of Appalachia is ageless, and dwells in our hearts, Reminding us to listen and remember the song sung to us long ago. Hope for the World 💖   As this year comes to the end and our world feels out of balance, Let us pause to be silent, And fill our minds with peace ☮️, And fill our hearts with Gratitude, And remember that Hope gives us strength and Grace 💗 and ease. As we allow the Spirit of Love to fill our world and the Light of New Beginnings to illuminate our path, We open the door for the Spirit of Blessings to abide in our homes, our communities, our lives.
