Building Hope

It is the first day of the New Year, 2026, and we are filled with feelings of new beginnings, filled with hope.

Immersed in these beautiful surroundings, wrapped in the loving embrace of the Nantahala Forest and the Blue Ridge Mountains, brings serenity to me. Everything has a frequency and I choose to be around those energies that are uplifting.

The featured image for this post shows what appears to be a long nail near the bottom of the photograph. This image shaped the name of this photograph, Building Hope. And the topic for this post.

That name feels like a very needed message for our world today.  And that is the thought I bring to you today.

It may only take one of your friendly smiles and a kind word to shift someone’s perception today. And it could change the course of their life, and our world.

Be the change, be the nail that builds hope.
