In the month of October, the Autumn skies are generally clear and the sun’s light is very bright here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Sunlight seems to bring out the best in our world, shining rays of optimism.
When the Autumn skies and the gentler temperatures combine, it helps all generate joyful thoughts.
We have had some stronger winds from the West this past week, bringing cooler nights to the Appalachians and the symphony of leaves falling and dancing in the breezes.
The hardier wildflowers are still holding their flowers until the first frost, which is expected this week.
Today we are enjoying a spectacular, sunny, relaxed day in the Nantahala Forest, listening to the waterfall near our home, and waving back to our tree family as they wave to us with their leaves.
Life is good at Harvest Time.
